About me

I’m Jakub Sokol, a Business Intelligence specialist based in London.

What I do

I build Power BI reports and data solutions that help people understand performance, spot issues earlier and make better decisions. My work usually sits between the business and technical teams, turning messy requirements into reporting that is clear, reliable and useful.

Over the last few years, I’ve worked across commercial, supply chain and customer insight reporting. I enjoy the full process, from shaping the data model to designing the final dashboard experience.

My focus is on building reporting that people can actually use.

That means clean data models, simple user journeys and dashboards that answer real business questions. I work with Power BI, SQL, Snowflake and modern data workflows to create reporting that is easy to maintain and trusted by the teams using it.

I’m especially interested in how business intelligence can support better planning, stronger customer understanding and clearer performance conversations.

Experience highlights

At The Jockey Club, I’ve helped build the BI function and supported the development of customer insight reporting across the organisation.

This has included creating Power BI dashboards for customer behaviour, ticketing patterns and feedback analysis. I’ve also worked on digital reporting by integrating GA4 and paid media data, helping teams move away from manual exports and towards more reliable automated reporting.

Before that, I worked in supply chain and commercial analytics, where I built reporting systems for logistics, procurement and inventory performance. A big part of that work was replacing manual processes with automated workflows and helping teams get to answers faster.
